Hey everyone! Its been a while since I've posted and I wanted to let everyone know what was up. I just started back to school full time and I'm trying to get adjusted to that. On top of that I'm in the process of moving which is hectic - and if that wasn't enough my lil punkin has been sick. So I'm just a little all over the place right now. I wish I could post more because I do enjoy it and find it therapeutic. For now I will just do it when I can. In the meantime, don't let that stop YOU from commenting! I have quite a few followers of this blog and I think they'd appreciate reading something regularly whether it be news of a new freebie, something funny, or something to get them thinking.

Mine is to stop holding on to clothes my daughter can no longer fit just because they are soooo cute! LOL. And to be honest with myself about what she can no longer fit. hahahaha

I just discovered this site and I love it because they have a wide variety of cool makeup and some of it is very inexpensive! And they offer free shipping if you purchase $40 worth. I only looked at the eyeshadow section b/c I'm an eyeshadow fanatic and they had lots of eyeshadow kits that were under $3. Some of them were brands I'd never heard of but they still had really bright & interesting colors. And they also had the popular store brands like Nyx & Sinful Colors. I definitely plan to try the Blah Blah eyeshadow brand b/c it was only $1 and also the Amuse and Wild & Crazy brands b/c they were among the least expensive and I am a fan of least expensive. lol

Valentines day for single ladies

Here are some ideas for "celebrating" Valentines day if you are a single chica.

I'd Rather be Single Than With My Ex! (Ex-orcising party) - Was your ex less than than desirable? Then get together with a bunch of friends who feel the same way, and have an Ex-orcism. Have friends bring old remembrances of their ex-mates such as stuffed animals, clothing, cards/letters, etc. to be "discarded" in the manner of your choice at the party. Play games like Bitter Arts & Crafts, and have a tape of the best "get on with your life" songs like, "I Will Survive," "What's Love Got to do With it," "It's My Party." You know which ones we mean. Host a "chocolate and cocktails" party. Have all sorts of chocolate snacks and make chocolate cocktails. Might make for a stomach ache though. lol

 

Try a "self love" day. Just spend all day indulging in guilt-free pampering and doing whatever you like to do..

 

And you can always just ignore V-day and pretend it doesn't exist which is what I will likely do. :oP

Since when is dropping a money order in the mail equivalent to parenting?

Contributing financially to the care of your child is definitely a part of being a parent. But it is a small part. And one shouldn't expect any explause for it. Sending me a "how is she doing" text message every few days and coming to see her every now and then when you are bored or didn't make plans with your girlfriend makes you nothing more than a sperm donor in my eyes. And to send me money to buy her a Christmas gift from you is quite sad when you have no reason why you can't do it yourself. It says you are incapable of spending more than 5 minutes thinking about her. A parent would be proud to take the time picking out a special gift for their child. You have no idea what it takes to be a parent -and have shown you don't have the time to find out - so please don't refer to yourself as one.

On Old Navy's website they have listed out 60 gifts for $6 or less and there are items available for babies, children, men, & women. I am particularly fond of all the pretty gloves, scarves, and hats. But get this - if you use the code "onsave20", they actually end up being just $4.80! VERY cool right??? You can sign up here for a free voicemail number you can pass out for business or pleasure and you can check the messages via email. I think this is kinda cool to use when first meeting a guy you "might" be interested in but are not sure. You don't have to give out your real number. You can always just deactivate this number if he ends up being a bugaboo. lol. Also would come in handy if your phone is broken or out of service.
